It's my first purchase from the L.O.T and I was really excited for the desktop drifter, also I had doubts about the quality. BUT as soon as it arrived, all the doubts are cleared. If you're confused between should you go for it, is it worth the price, etc. Trust me just buy it. I was visiting the website from last 6 months overthinking should I buy it or not. Finally I placed the order 3 days back and it arrived today. I'm already addicted to it.

I got mine in a great condition. I would love to get one more but the price point could be little more competitive. Also the controller knob (directional) could have come with a rubber sleeve for better control. Better pricing and would get one more

Despite the size, the 1:64 minis are desk companions rather than children's toys — they are bought for offices, desks and shelves, and they run at around 10 km/h, which is a speed that suits a tabletop and not a hallway. They make good gifts for the person who has a car they love and no room for a real one.
A desk or a table is enough. That is the whole point of the scale — a metre of clear surface gives you somewhere to drive, and a hard smooth top works best. It will run on a floor too, but it is designed so you do not need one.
Both. It is a properly detailed 1:64 model that also drives on 2.4GHz control, so it sits on a shelf between sessions and comes down when you want to use it. That is the difference between this and a die-cast: the die-cast only ever looks good.
Yes — each pairs to its own remote automatically over 2.4GHz, so a few of them on one desk will not interfere with each other. They are built to be collected as much as driven.
1:64 — the desktop scale, the same as Dash and Mac, and small enough to live on a desk rather than a shelf. It is four-wheel drive and runs at around 10 km/h, which is the right speed for a table top. If you have seen a larger figure quoted anywhere, 1:64 is the correct one.
