FAQs

No. Every L.O.T Build kit is laser-cut to slot together by hand. No glue, no tools, nothing to buy — open the box and start.

Kits in this range run from about 30 minutes to around three hours depending on the piece count, and the difficulty is patience rather than skill — the pieces only fit where they are meant to. This product page lists its own piece count and build time. If it is a gift and you are unsure, the smaller kits are a comfortable evening; the largest are a proper weekend project.

Yes — that is the point. These are display pieces you assemble yourself, finished in laser-cut wood rather than printed card or plastic. The Hogwarts house crests include a wooden display stand with a numbered plate.

4+ for the garages, 6+ for the figure kits, 8+ for the Colosseum and 14+ for the collector pieces. The limit is complexity, not safety — a younger child who enjoys making will manage with a hand. The Hogwarts house crests are 14+, the Colosseum is 8+ at 321 pieces, and the Garage and the Bat Garage are 4+.

It is built around 1:64 — our Dash, Nitro and Mac minis, and Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, all sit in it properly. That is what makes the Garage the bridge between L.O.T Build and L.O.T Cars: you assemble it, then you have somewhere to put the collection you already own.

We offer something better suited to a hobby product: lifetime support. If a part wears out or breaks, tell them what you need and they will arrange a replacement for the life of the product. If something arrives damaged or a part is missing from the box, record a clear video while opening the package and send it across — that helps us verify and get the replacement out to you, without a return.
